The Kirovsky District Court of Tomsk decided to expel rapper Platina (Robert Plaudis) from Russia. This was reported by the SHOT telegram channel and Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
Platinum is a citizen of Latvia. He was detained the day before, on April 19, in Tomsk during a concert. Local police clarified that reports were drawn up against the rapper for violating the rules of entry into Russia (Part 2 of Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offences), illegal work (Part 1 of Article 18.10 of the Code of Administrative Offences), refusal of a medical examination (Part 2 of Article 6.9 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and propaganda of drugs (Article 6.13 Administrative Code).
Prior to deportation, Platin will be held in a temporary detention center for foreigners for ten days. The court also fined him four thousand rubles.
As SHOT reports, at the trial the rapper said that he did not refuse a medical examination, was sober and did not violate anything. The lawyer also asked not to place him under arrest due to a pollen allergy.
This is not the first case of deportation abroad of a Russian-speaking musician with foreign citizenship. In January 2024, a Moscow court made a similar decision against the founder of the Jump Pussy and Pasos projects, Petar Martic, after a protocol was drawn up against him for drug propaganda.
