ROSTOV-ON-DON, April 21 The prosecutor's office has begun an investigation due to a fire in shopping pavilions in the Kirov district of Astrakhan, a representative of the supervisory department of the Astrakhan region said.
A fire at a clothing market occurred in Astrakhan on Sunday evening. It covered 1.2 thousand square meters. The fire has now been localized.
«During the inspection, compliance with fire safety requirements, the causes and conditions of the incident will be assessed,» the agency's interlocutor said.
The prosecutor of the Kirov district of Astrakhan, Sergei Konovalov, went to the scene.
