Nizhny Novgorod police drew up protocols on the demonstration of Nazi paraphernalia (Part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Administrative Code) against three members of the “Metal Corrosion” group. This was reported in the department’s telegram channel.
On the evening of April 27, security forces disrupted the band’s concert at the “Hate” club. As the director of the group, Maria Runova, told RIA Novosti, they came during a break between songs and detained the leader of Corrosion of Metal, Sergei Troitsky (Spider).
The security forces, Runova added, behaved rudely. Judging by the videos published by eyewitnesses, security forces in helmets and with batons forced visitors to lie face down on the floor. Some, as can be seen in the recordings, were beaten. Runova herself, writes Baza, was diagnosed with a concussion, and one of the concert organizers received a severe bruise to her finger.
Runova added that the complaints were about the group’s merch. The Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement that books and “more than 20 T-shirts with prohibited symbols printed on them” were seized.
