MOSCOW, May 2. The United States continues to put undisguised pressure on countries cooperating with the Russian Federation, but this is not capable of affecting bilateral relations, the press secretary of the Russian President said Dmitry Peskov.
«Everyone understands everything. And indeed, the United States continues its overt pressure on these countries, companies and firms are suffering, but this is not capable of disrupting the development of our bilateral relations with these countries. The countries are interested in this, they retain their sovereignty, and we expect to continue to cooperate, and in such a way as to gradually minimize the risks from such unfriendly, or rather hostile, manifestations,” he told reporters.
The US Treasury previously imposed sanctions against a number of Russian companies. Also on the list were a number of Chinese, Belgian and Turkish companies for allegedly supplying equipment to the Russian military-industrial complex.
