The Kirovsky District Court of Ufa registered the materials of the administrative case against rapper Face (Ivan Dremin). Mediazona drew attention to the card in the court database.
The musician is charged with failure to provide a report on the activities of a “foreign agent” (Part 2 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code). The case materials were received by the court today; a hearing on it has not yet been scheduled.
The Ministry of Justice declared the rapper a “foreign agent” in April 2022. In August 2023, he was already fined 30 thousand rubles for failure to provide a report required by the department.
In addition, Dremin was twice fined for distributing posts without the “foreign agent” label (part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code) — in the summer of 2022 and at the end of 2023. The first time the fine amounted to 10 thousand rubles, and the second time — 30 thousand rubles. In February 2024, another protocol was drawn up against the musician stating that he was not marked as a “foreign agent.” The court has not yet made a decision on this administrative case.
If a person declared a “foreign agent” is fined twice a year under Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, a criminal case may be initiated against him (Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code).
