MOSCOW, May 3. The process of returning Russians who have left is absolutely normal, Russia provides great opportunities for business development, and it is more reliable to conduct it at home, said the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
«»We said before that this is a multidirectional process. Russians who leave once return after some time. Because in any case, doing business with us is more interesting. We have more opportunities. It is always safer to do this at home… This it’s a normal process. Someone leaves, someone comes. That’s how the economy works,” he told reporters, answering the question of whether the Kremlin sees a trend that Russians who left amid the SVO are returning.
He also noted that the dynamics of Russian economic development provide great opportunities for business.
“If you look at the statistics at the number of small and medium-sized businesses that were created over the past year, tax collection and so on, this suggests that business life is developing very, very dynamically,” Peskov added.
Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Russian President Vladimir Putin called its goal “the protection of people who have been subjected to abuse and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.” He noted that the special operation was a forced measure, Russia “was left no chance to do otherwise, security risks were created such that it was impossible to respond by other means.”
