An explosion occurred in a private house in Belgorod, as a result of which five people were injured. The head of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced this.
According to his information, all victims received shrapnel wounds, bruises and closed craniocerebral injuries. They were taken to the hospital. Gladkov adds that the explosion damaged 30 buildings in the district and 10 cars. Rescuers are now putting out a fire in a destroyed house.
The governor does not say the cause of the explosion. The authors of the Belgorod telegram channel “Ashes” write that a Russian air bomb could have fallen on the house. This is indicated, in particular, by the nature of the damage. According to the authors of Ashes, the authorities did not sound an air raid warning before the explosion, which indicates the likelihood of a Ukrainian attack.
In addition, as the telegram channel notes, at the same time, Russian aviation hit the Kharkov region with guided bombs. Probably one of them fell on a house in Belgorod.
A year ago, a FAB-500 aerial bomb already fell from a Russian fighter on Belgorod. It entered the ground and exploded, damaging cars and surrounding houses. Several people were injured. The Russian Ministry of Defense recognized the “abnormal discharge of aircraft ammunition.”
