Residents of Pervouralsk, Degtyarsk and Revda spoke about similar problems. In total, as the prosecutor's office of the Sverdlovsk region writes, about 74 thousand people were left without electricity.

Representatives of Rosseti Ural report that 49 power lines were damaged in the region due to the accumulation of wet snow, icing and falling trees. The company notes that nothing like this has happened in the region for 20 years. Restoration work is being carried out in the Sysertsky, Nizhneserginsky, Revdinsky and Degtyarsky urban districts, as well as in the suburbs of Yekaterinburg.

Due to snowfall, a multi-kilometer traffic jam formed on the Perm-Ekaterinburg highway. Massive disruptions in train traffic are also known.
