MOSCOW, May 3. The leader of the party «A Just Russia — For Truth» Sergei Mironov proposed that the government abolish the land tax on dacha and garden plots of up to six acres.
“I urge the government to cancel the land tax on dacha and garden plots of up to six acres,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
The deputy recalled that about 40% of all vegetables and fruits in the country are grown in dachas and gardens.
«Gardeners make a huge contribution to food security! And instead of imposing fines on them for bindweed and barbecues, the state should provide them with support and assistance,» the parliamentarian added.
Mironov also believes that municipalities need to provide gardeners with all the necessary infrastructure: roads, heat, water, electricity.
