MOSCOW, May 3. The powers of a deputy may be terminated early if he acquired the status of a foreign agent, such an amendment was approved by the State Duma Committee on State Construction, the document was posted in the Duma electronic database.
«Part 21 of Article 19 should be supplemented with clause 9.1 as follows: «91) he acquires the status of a foreign agent,» the text of the amendment says.
It is also noted that the powers of governors are terminated early if they acquire the status of a foreign agent.
