Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that statements by representatives of Western countries about their readiness to send military contingents to Ukraine require a swift and effective response from Moscow. So he explained in an interview journalist Pavel Zarubin instructed Vladimir Putin to conduct exercises on the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons.
Peskov clarified that he was referring to the statements of French President Emmanuel Macron and British Foreign Secretary David Cameron (about Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory British weapons. — Ed.), as well as some US senators.
“These are unprecedented, unprecedented statements,” Peskov described, adding that they require “very responsible, swift, effective reactions from our side.»
