Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday , May 7, signed the decree “On the national development goals of the Russian Federation for the period until 2030 and for the future until 2036.” It establishes key indicators of the state's development in the most important areas.
The head of state demanded that the income of Russians and the level of pensions grow not lower than the inflation rate. At the same time, it was ordered to increase the minimum wage (minimum wage) at an accelerated pace; by 2030 it should at least double — to 35 thousand rubles.
Along with this, Vladimir Putin ordered the approval of new wage systems in 2026 state employees and introduce them from 2027.
Earlier, the head of the federal cabinet, Mikhail Mishustin, said that the nominal growth of wages in Russia in 2023 exceeded 14%, and the real one — 7.8%. At the same time, the task set by the president to further increase the incomes of Russians and reduce poverty remains intact.
At the same time, Vladimir Putin instructed the federal government to take measures to reduce the poverty level by 2030 — it should be below 7%, and among large families – 12% or less.
