According to hydrological bulletins from the Telegram channel of the regional government information center, at 8.00 (6.00) on May 7, the water level in the Ishim River in the village of Abatskoye is 1211 centimeters, at 8.00 (6.00 Moscow time) on May 8 – 1198 centimeters. < br />The Abata region is experiencing severe flooding due to high water on the Ishim River; the maximum water level in the river was recorded on May 3 at 1236 centimeters, this is higher than the previous record, which was recorded in 2017, by 88 centimeters. The critical level of the dangerous phenomenon for this locality is 960 centimeters. According to the authorities, the tense flood situation in the Abatsky district may persist until May 15.
It was previously reported that in the village of Abatskoye up to 500 houses are under threat of flooding; about 1.5 thousand people live in them. In total, the population in the region is 19 thousand people, in Abatsky, where an emergency evacuation was announced on April 27, about 8 thousand.
A state of emergency due to flooding in the Tyumen region was introduced on April 8. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as of Tuesday, 400 residential buildings, 345 country houses, 3.2 thousand household plots, 38 sections of roads were flooded in the region.
