Not so long ago we imagined what some Hyundai models would look like with double-decker headlights without an upper “floor,” and today we’ll depict it in a similar type of new product from BMW.

The German company joined the current trend much later than Hyundai — in 2022. Moreover, so far it has affected only the flagship models of BMW, and the first-born was the company’s largest crossover — the X7 after restyling, its premiere took place in mid-April 2022.

Just a week later, it was joined by the Bavarian passenger car flagship — the 7 Series executive sedan, which has a very unusual design and was originally conceived with exactly this version of the front optics. In the presented renderings, we removed the upper part of the front optics with LED lights, leaving only the main headlight blocks built into the bumper.

Finally, the third and so far the last in this series The new product is another flagship crossover with a new name for the brand, XM, which is inferior in length to the X7 by only 71 mm (it is also 80 mm lower, but at the same time 5 mm wider). It was officially demonstrated in September 2022, becoming the production version of the concept of the same name, presented a year earlier.

We suggest writing in the comments about what other models would be interesting to see without the upper “floor” of headlights, as well as with more traditionally shaped optics.
