MOSCOW, May 10. New York Rangers hockey players defeated the Carolina Hurricanes in the third game of the second round series of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL).
The meeting, which took place in Raleigh, ended with the guests winning in overtime with a score of 3:2 (0:1, 1:0, 1:1, 1:0). For the Rangers, Chris Kreider (29th minute) and Alexis Lafreniere (47th minute) scored goals in regulation time. The author of the winning goal in overtime was Russian striker Artemy Panarin (62). Jake Guentzel (11) and Russian striker Andrei Svechnikov (59) scored for the home team.
