MOSCOW, May 12. Speaker of the Federal Council (government) and Vice-Chancellor of Switzerland Andre Simonazzi died while hiking in the mountains, according to a press release on the government portal.
The incident occurred on Friday, the official was 55 years old.

Simonazzi is survived by his wife and three adult children. Members of the Federal Council and the Federal Chancellor expressed their condolences on the death of their colleague.
