Today Belgorod was subjected to massive shelling from the Ukrainian troops, in which, due to a direct hit from a shell, The entire entrance to a ten-story residential building on Shchorsa Street collapsed.
About an hour or so after the impact, a second collapse occurred — the attic floor and the roof above the destroyed entrance fell. Because of this, three rescuers received varying degrees of injuries.
Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov reported 20 victims, including two children. Search and rescue efforts continue. At the same time, they were already interrupted several times due to the declaration of a missile threat.
The Ministry of Defense clarified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at Belgorod with Tochka-U missiles and MLRS shells. Fragments of one of the downed Tochka-U missiles damaged a residential building.
