MOSCOW, May 12. Decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s appointment of Andrei Belousov as Minister of Defense suggests that today such a person is needed in the post, said the head of the State Duma Defense Committee Andrei Kartapolov.
““Since the president made such a decision, and the president, I want to remind you, is the supreme commander in chief. This means that today, just such a person is needed as the minister of defense,” Kartapolov said.
