MOSCOW, May 13.AvtoVAZ increased prices for a number of Lada models: the largest increase affected Granta Cross cars (by 7%, to 1,012,000 rubles), and the smallest increase affected the basic version of Niva Travel (by 4.3%, to 1,250,000 rubles), follows from price lists published on the automaker's website.
Cars of the Lada Granta family — except for the Cross version — have not increased in price in basic trim levels, and prices have not changed for the entire Lada Vesta family. 
At the same time, the basic version of the Lada Niva Legend increased in price by 6%, to 881 thousand rubles, and the Niva Legend Bronto — by 4.7%, to 1,365,000 rubles.
At the end of April, AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov reported that the company would review prices for Lada cars in May, but the increase would not be higher than accumulated inflation.
AvtoVAZ owns production sites in Togliatti and Izhevsk. In mid-May 2022, the French Renault transferred its share in AvtoVAZ (67.69%) to the state ownership of the Russian Federation. Now the brand consists of four families of models: Vesta, Largus, Granta and Niva. Sales of Lada cars in 2023 amounted to 352.6 thousand units (almost doubling).
