MOSCOW, May 13. Army General Alexander Bortnikov arrived at the Federation Council, where consultations will be held on his candidacy for the post of director of the Federal Security Service of Russia, the correspondent reports.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed reappointing Bortnikov as director of the FSB.
Bortnikov has headed the FSB since 2008.
