
MOSCOW, May 13. Candidate for the position of chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, Boris Kovalchuk, if his candidacy for the post is approved, sees the unconditional implementation of national goals and national projects defined by the President of the Republic of Vladimir Putin as one of the top priorities of the department.
“»I would focus on the main priorities that I see in my work as the chairman of the Accounts Chamber if a corresponding decision is made by members of the Federation Council. The first is the unconditional implementation of national goals, strategic objectives and national projects defined by the President of the Russian Federation in decrees of May 7, 2012, May 7, 2018, No. 309. decree of May 7, 2024, in the list of instructions following the announcement of the message to the Federal Assembly, as well as in other regulations describing and establishing relevant national priorities in various areas,” Kovalchuk said, speaking at the Federation Council’s budget committee.
