MINSK, May 23. Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Russian-Belarusian negotiations called agriculture the most important area and said that Belarus is showing results.
“Alexander Grigoryevich (ed. — Lukashenko) did not mention, but we briefly touched on another topic, the direction of interaction is agriculture, this is the most important area, Belarus is demonstrating very good results here, primarily in terms of the quality of goods,” Putin said after the negotiations.
He also noted that Belarusian agricultural products enjoy deserved attention on the Russian market. A large number of trading enterprises have opened in Russia, where the signs say that the goods came from Belarus. They are in great demand.
