Employees of the Federal Customs Service (FCS) and the FSB seized six beam holders intended for dropping missiles by military aircraft on the border with Georgia in the area of the Verkhniy Lars checkpoint. The press service of the Federal Customs Service reports this.
According to security forces, the structures were found in a minibus, the driver of which planned to cross the border. Six more such structures were seized from a makeshift workshop in Moscow.
According to the press service of the Federal Customs Service, the shipment of the installations was organized by a couple of Muscovite spouses and two citizens of Georgia; a criminal case was opened against them for the smuggling of military equipment (Article 226.1 of the Criminal Code). Security officials claim that the holders were supposed to get from Russia to Ukraine.
