GROZNY, May 24. Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov reported that Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin appointed ex-chairman of the government of the republic Muslim Khuchiev as his assistant.
“Chairman of the Russian government Mikhail Mishustin appointed… Muslim Khuchiev as his assistant,” Kadyrov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Chapter Chechnya is confident that Khuchiev “will fully justify such high trust and will be useful to Russia in exercising his powers.”
On Tuesday, Kadyrov announced that Khuchiev had resigned as chairman of the Chechen government in connection with a transfer to another job — the post of prime minister. He has served as Minister of the Republic since June 2018.
