Over the past 24 hours, May 25, four civilians were killed by Ukrainian shelling throughout the Belgorod region. Local governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced this in his Telegram channel.
Another 18 people, including two children, according to his information, were injured. Four victims are in intensive care.
The day before, Gladkov wrote about several Ukrainian shelling and drone attacks in the border areas of the Belgorod region. In particular, a resident of the village of Oktyabrsky died in a hospital in the regional capital.
In the evening, Belgorod Mayor Valentin Demidov published photographs in his Telegram channel showing the consequences of the shelling of the residential area of Kharkovskaya Gora. According to him, ten multi-storey buildings, two schools and three commercial properties were damaged there. In addition, two cars were completely burned. The official did not report any injuries at the time.
