The death toll as a result of a Russian airstrike on a construction hypermarket in Kharkov has reached 12 people. Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko announced this in his telegram channel.
According to him, another 43 people were injured, and 16 were declared missing.
The evening before, May 25, the Russian army, using KABov attacked the center of Kharkov. According to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, there were more than 200 people in the hypermarket that was hit by two air bombs at the time of the attack.
Klimenko clarified that after the airstrike a fire started and the fire spread to 13 thousand square meters. Rescuers spent 16 hours extinguishing it.
