MOSCOW, May 27. A teenager who tried to commit sabotage on a railway in Tomsk received 4 years and 6 months, according to the Telegram channel of the Eastern Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the SK Russia.
Earlier, the department reported that security forces in the Tomsk region detained a teenager for attempting sabotage on the railway — he tried to set fire to a relay cabinet using a Molotov cocktail.
«The evidence collected by the Novosibirsk Investigation Department for Transport of the Eastern MSUT of the Investigative Committee of Russia was found by the court to be sufficient to convict a 17-year-old local resident. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 281 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (sabotage)… The court appointed the guilty party punishment in the form of imprisonment for a period of 4 years 6 months, served in a correctional colony,» the statement says.
