GROZNY, May 24. Former Chairman of the Government of Chechnya Muslim Khuchiev was awarded the title “Hero of the Chechen Republic” for his contribution to the socio-economic development of the region, the head of the region Ramzan Kadyrov announced on Friday in his Telegram channel.
On Tuesday, Khuchiev resigned as chairman of the government of Chechnya, a post he held since June 2018. On Friday, Kadyrov announced that Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin had appointed him as his assistant.
