ST. PETERSBURG, May 26. The prosecutor's office is checking the air incident in Pulkovo, where an employee drove his personal car into the field in front of the Kostroma — St. Petersburg flight, reports the press service of the North-Western Transport Prosecutor's Office.
«On the twenty-sixth of May 2024, a technical worker of Nordwind Airlines drove his car onto the tarmac of Pulkovo Airport in front of the plane flying Kostroma — St. Petersburg,» the press service reports.
It is clarified that the plane was heading to the parking lot and stopped 50 meters from the car. All passengers were safely disembarked and there were no injuries or damage.
Also, according to preliminary data, the press service of the transport prosecutor's office reports, the employee did not have permission to drive a vehicle on the airfield.
«The St. Petersburg Transport Prosecutor's Office will check all the circumstances, the implementation of flight safety legislation and compliance with the rights of passengers, and if there are grounds, it will take measures,» the press service concluded.
