The Ukrainian publication «Strana» reports that the appearance of the latest Russian artillery complex 2S43 «Malva» in the zone of a special military operation was allegedly recorded for the first time.
In the report states that the Russian artillery system was photographed from a reconnaissance drone in the border area of the Belgorod region.
The publication emphasizes that this is an analogue of the French Caesar system and the Ukrainian Bogdana. The Malva artillery system is automated, can fire in a fire raid mode and is capable of firing tactical nuclear shells.
In January of this year, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that new artillery guns «Malva» and » Phlox» caliber 152 and 120 mm. Open sources say that the Malva tests were completed in May last year, and already in October 2023, the first production samples began to arrive in the Russian Armed Forces.
