Von der Leyen was greeted in Bulgaria with Russian flags: no NATO
As Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports, the visit of the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen to Bulgaria began with an unpleasant incident — citizens of this country greeted the politician with whistles and Russian flags.
It is clarified that such a “warm welcome” was given to von del Deyen by residents of the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv. , gathered in front of the Ancient Theater where she performed. Participants of the action brought with them the flag of the Russian Federation, as well as symbols of the Northern Military District. They also held banners in their hands with the words “No to NATO!” and “Von der Leyen is killing Europe.”
“You are not welcome here,” Bulgarian citizens chanted in unison in German.
