NALCHIK, June 6 Deputies of the People's Assembly of Ingushetia On Thursday, the date for the elections of the head of the region was set; they will be held on a single voting day on September 8 of this year, the press service of the parliament reported.
“»At a meeting on Thursday, deputies of the People's Assembly adopted a resolution on the date of the elections of the head of Ingushetia, they will take place on September 8, 2024. The decision was made unanimously,» the agency's interlocutor said.
The head of the region in Ingushetia, as in a number of other North Caucasian republics, is elected by parliament from three candidates nominated by the Russian President.
