MAKHACHKALA, June 5 Mayor of Dagestan Derbent Rustambek Pirmagomedov in his On the Telegram channel he announced his decision to leave the position of mayor of the city.

“I have decided to resign as the head of Derbent,” Pirmagomedov wrote.
Pirmagomedov has worked in the administration of Derbent since January 2019: successively he was deputy head of the city, first deputy, acting head of the city, was elected mayor in December 2020.
