
ST. PETERSBURG, June 8 Moscow is developing much faster, contrary to the expectations of unfriendly countries, so special attention is being focused on the city, said the interview on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum with Moscow Government Minister, Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky.
“I think that in the current conditions, all countries are paying special attention to the city. Especially unfriendly countries, because we are working contrary to all the expectations of our unfriendly partners, we are growing much faster than expected. Let me remind you that our Western former partners assumed that the economy not only cities, but also countries will be torn to shreds, that we will not be able to provide a normal life for people, we will not be able to maintain a certain level of production, and everything for this was done by our unfriendly colleagues,” said Ovchinsky.
He emphasized that Moscow has proven throughout 2022-2023 and is proving now that it is not just surviving, we are developing at an accelerated pace, and are actively scaling industrial production.
