MOSCOW, June 8 Aerospace Forces Russia launched strikes on four bases of militants who had left the al-Tanf zone and were hiding in inaccessible mountainous areas in the provinces of Deir ez-Zor and Homs in Syria, said the deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties (CPVS) in the Arab Republic, Major General Yuri Popov.
«The Russian Aerospace Forces carried out strikes on four identified bases of militants who had left the Al-Tanf zone and were hiding in hard-to-reach areas of the Al-Amur mountain ranges in the province of Homs and Al-Bishri in the province of Deir Ez-Zor,» he said at the briefing.
