On the sidelines of the XXVII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Rosneft and the Ministry of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Tourism of the Voronezh Region signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of development of domestic tourism.
The document implies the implementation of measures aimed at meeting the demand for domestic automobile tourism, promoting the tourism potential of the region, increasing the comfort of automobile tourists through the development of roadside services and the infrastructure of the oil company's retail network.
It should be noted that earlier the company and the Tourist Information Center (TIC) of Voronezh presented a joint project for the development of auto tourism — a tourist route through the roadside infrastructure of the company's gas stations. The project includes four routes for traveling by car in Voronezh and the Voronezh region in the directions: north, south, west, east. The routes include popular tourist places located both in Voronezh itself and near federal highways, such as M-4 Don. Travelers can explore the region and learn a lot about it on their own, without having to worry about running out of gas or running out of places to eat.
In total, there are about 80 gas stations of the Rosneft network in the Voronezh region. Of these, 15 gas stations are located on the road to Voronezh on the M4 highway – the main transport artery of the region, along which residents of Central Russia travel to the sea.
We would like to remind you that the development of roadside service and increasing the level of customer services provided at the gas station network is one of the company’s priorities. This contributes to the development of domestic automobile tourism.
In addition to the Voronezh region, the company has now presented joint tourist routes running through its infrastructure in the Republic of Karelia, Tula, Arkhangelsk, Ulyanovsk regions, as well as main routes between Moscow and Krasnaya Polyana and between the two capitals. In addition, memoranda of cooperation in the field of development of domestic tourism were previously signed with the Moscow Tourism Committee, the Government of the Samara Region, the Ministry of Culture of the Arkhangelsk Region, the Altai Territory Administration for the Development of Tourism and Resort Activities, the Tourism Agencies of the Ulyanovsk Region and the Udmurt Republic, as well as with the Republic of Bashkortostan.
