MOSCOW, June 10 Gymnasts Diana Chugunikhina, Anna Popova, Lala Kramarenko, Milena Shchenyatskaya and Karina Kireeva were included in the list of candidates for participation in the BRICS Games from Russia, the final composition of the national team for the tournament will be known in the final days of training, said the President of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics (VFKhG) Irina Viner.

Anya Popova is the winner of the competition in Dubai, and, of course, Lala Kramarenko. But everyone is interested in who I can’t say yet who will go to the BRICS Games, but now Milena Shchenyatskaya showed herself most clearly — at the second stage of the Strongest Cup — and Karina Kireeva — she is in second place at the Evgeniya Cup. With five gymnasts, we will finally decide in the last days of training what the composition of the team will be,” Wiener wrote in her Telegram channel.
The BRICS Games will be held from June 12 to 24 in Kazan. About 5 thousand athletes will take part in the competition, who will compete for 387 sets of medals. Earlier, Russian Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev said that 93 countries had confirmed their participation in the BRICS Games.
