MOSCOW, June 12, Oleg Bogatov. General Director of Makhachkala Football Dynamo club Shamil Gazizov said that he has no information about the departure of Kurban Berdyev to the Azerbaijani Turan, the specialist has a contract without a fixed period of validity and he has the right to terminate it at any time.
Vice-president of the Turan club Ali Balakishiyev said on Wednesday that 71-year-old Berdyev will become the head coach of the team, and the specialist should arrive in Baku on June 18 to sign a contract. Currently, Berdyev holds the post of advisor to the Dynamo president; before that, he worked as the team’s head coach.
“»I have no information about Kurban Berdyev's departure from our club. Kurban Bekievich has a free (without fixed duration) contract, so he can either stay in the club or leave it at any time. Berdyev at any time has the right to terminate the contract, this will not be associated with any financial or other obligations,” Gazizov said.
Previously, the coach headed the Iranian «Traktor», Kazakh «Kairat», Kazan «Rubin», «Rostov» and «Sochi».
