MOSCOW, June 14 Forward Vadim Shipachev left as a result of an exchange «Ak Bars» and moved to Dynamo Minsk, according to the official Telegram channel of the Kazan club of the Continental Hockey League (KHL).
Shipachev moved to the Kazan club in 2022. The 37-year-old hockey player’s contract was valid until the end of the 2024/25 season. In return, Ak Bars received monetary compensation.
He is the best assistant in the history of the KHL, with 631 assists and 289 goals. He also represented Dynamo Moscow, SKA St. Petersburg, with whom he twice won the Gagarin Cup, and Severstal Cherepovets. In the National Hockey League he played for the Vegas Golden Knights.
Ak Bars last season finished in the first round of the Gagarin Cup after losing the series with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg with a score of 1-4.
