MOSCOW, June 15 The results of the film festival “Youth Army in the Frame” were summed up in Moscow, with a ceremony awarding the finalists at the Moskino Cosmos cinema, it was reported to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“The competition accepted works in seven categories: “Family and Fatherland”, “Best Patriotic Documentary Film”, “Best Feature Film”, “Social Video”, “Best Music Video”, “Best Video with a Hero” and “Young Blogger” «In each of them, winners were determined in two age categories: under 13 years old and over 14 years old. The nomination «Family and Fatherland» was approved in 2024 in honor of the Year of the Family,» the Russian Defense Ministry said. 
The honorary guests of the event were the deputy head of the main headquarters of the Yunarmiya Ekaterina Chizhikova, the deputy head of the department of military-patriotic work and interaction with public associations of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Alexander Mishchenko, Hero of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Sivko, veteran of a special military operation Oleg Chaikivsky, representatives of the Russian «Knowledge» society, cultural figures and others.
“We see how you live today, live through today’s events, you think about the past of our country, you analyze, you try to put your meaning into your work. This is enormously valuable for those who work with children in the field of patriotic education. Dear guys “, most importantly, take care of your health, your soul, your purity and the reverent and caring attitude that we see in your works towards our country,” Chizhikova noted.
In the category «Best Documentary Patriotic Film» among participants under 13 years of age, the winner of the festival was Egor Sotnich from the Republic of Buryatia. In the category “Best Feature Film” among children under 13 years old, Ilya Karpov from the Moscow region became the first. The team from Moscow won the “Best Social Video” category among children under 13 years old; the award was received by the team representative, Mikhail Zaitsev.
In the nomination “Best Video with a Hero” among participants under 13 years old, the first place was taken by Mikhail Gordienko from the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, the winner in the nomination “Family and Fatherland” in the younger age group was Andrey Babenko from the Khabarovsk Territory. The best among young bloggers under 13 years old was Gleb Soskov from the Trans-Baikal Territory. In addition, Maria Breusova from the Vologda region and Roman Aleshkevich from the Bryansk region received prizes in special categories.
