The new model from the German brand is expected to debut in 2026, and will go on sale on the old world market in 2027.
Over the past few years, Audi has been developing its own «green» line. Despite the fact that sales of «electric cars» have not met the expectations of most mass-market automakers, they do not intend to curtail many projects. For Audi, one of these projects is the release of a small crossover, which will be called the Q2 e-tron.

Previously, the company confirmed that a corresponding model will appear in the all-electric family. For now, the manufacturer is keeping the appearance of the future SUV a secret. The designer of the Spanish publication Motor.es shared with us his idea of what the appearance of the Audi Q2 e-tron would be. jpg» />
It is expected that the crossover will have modest external dimensions and at the same time a fairly spacious interior (about the same as the current Audi A3). Judging by the rendering, the model may receive a streamlined silhouette, a sloping roof, a small hood with a recess, and wheel arch trims in body color. The artist also painted traditional exterior mirrors with turn signal repeaters and retractable door handles for the future new product.
If you believe the image, the Audi Q2 e-tron will receive a large plug in the shape of the usual branded radiator grille, as well as a small horizontally elongated air intake integrated into the lower part of the front bumper. The future SUV may also have two-story optics, where narrow strips of running lights are located on top, and below are the main headlight units.
Render of Audi Q2 e-tron
The rear of the Q2 e-tron is not visible in the rendering, but it is assumed that the rear lights will be connected to each other by a luminous strip across the entire width of the tailgate. The interior has not yet been shown, but it will probably be unified with other “electric trains” of the German brand.
It is not yet known which platform will form the basis of the compact “green” crossover: perhaps MEB+ will play its role, another option is PPE. According to preliminary data, the Audi Q2 e-tron will have versions with both rear-wheel drive (and, accordingly, a single electric motor) and all-wheel drive (and a dual-motor power plant). It is expected that the maximum power will be up to 500 hp, and the range will be up to 700 km.
