MOSCOW, June 25 Representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Dmitry Lazutkin said, that of the 2.3 million conscripts who have updated their credentials online since May 18, 1.1 million are eligible for conscription.
Earlier, the Ukrainian military department announced the launch of an application for remotely updating the data of military personnel. As of May 20, 400 thousand people updated their data using the application, the department reported.
«Among those people who updated their data on May 18, there are 1 million and 100 thousand people liable for military service who are eligible for conscription. This is important information, because there are many reserved, many who have the right to a deferment. That is , a million and a hundred thousand can be mobilized and, accordingly, join the ranks of the defense forces,” Lazutkin was quoted as saying by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense publication ArmyInform.
The law on strengthening mobilization in Ukraine came into force on May 18. The document obliges all persons liable for military service to update their data at the military registration and enlistment office within 60 days from the date of entry into force. To do this, you need to come to the military registration and enlistment office in person or register in the “conscript’s electronic account.” The summons will be considered served even if the conscript has not seen it in person: the date of “delivery” of the summons will be considered the date when the document was stamped with the impossibility of personal delivery. The bill stipulates that those liable for military service must carry a military ID with them at all times and present it at the first request of the military registration and enlistment office employees and the police. Dodgers may be deprived of the right to drive a car. The terms of demobilization are not specified in the document.
