In May, International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor Karim Khan said he was applying to the Pre-Trial Chamber for arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant. On October 7, 2023, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip.
