The Bentley brand began producing the Continental GT coupe in 2003, and later an open-top version appeared. Over the past time, this model has changed generations only twice, with the third generation being presented in 2017, and in June 2022, the sports versions of the Continental GT S and GTC S debuted. Now the company has presented the fourth generation two-door Continental GT and GTC.

In essence, the new Bentley Continental GT and its open-top version are the result of a major redesign of its predecessors. Visually, the models retained the same body proportions. The changes are especially noticeable in the front part: the developers decided to retire the “four-eyed” head optics, they were replaced by laconic oval headlights with LED inserts that act as running lights and turn signals.
In addition, the new Continental GT and GTC have a narrower radiator grille, and the lower part of the front bumper is designed differently with three air intakes. The rear lights have changed less noticeably: their shape has become more horizontally elongated and has sharpened edges on both sides. The lower part of the rear bumper is designed even differently with modified exhaust pipes. The models were equipped with 22-inch wheels.

The interior of the new generation Bentley Continental GT and GTC has been updated very modestly. It is known that Bentley engineers improved sound insulation, installed seats with 20-position adjustment, and added an air ionizer. In addition, the two-door models received a number of modified decorative elements, and leather upholstery with a three-dimensional pattern is available to order. The models were equipped with the current version of the infotainment system with a 12.3-inch diagonal touchscreen, which can be updated over the air.

It is based on a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, the output of which is 600 hp and the maximum torque is 800 Nm. It works in tandem with an eight-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches, which integrates a 190-horsepower electric motor (450 Nm). The total system power is 782 hp. (torque — 1000 Nm).
The installation also includes a battery with a capacity of 25.9 kWh, operating voltage — 400 volts. The range when driving in purely electric mode is a maximum of 81 km, and the upper limit of the permissible speed does not exceed 140 km/h. There is an 11 kW AC charger on board.
