
ASTANA, July 3 Russian Presidents Vladimir Putin and Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan will discuss at a meeting in Astana the prospects for the head of the Russian Federation’s trip to Turkey; the decision to hold the meeting was mutual, press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
“No, this was a mutual initiative… Still on the agenda The topic of the day remains President Putin’s visit to the Republic of Turkey. It will definitely take place in due course, as soon as the schedules of the two presidents can be agreed upon,” Peskov said.
“Today will be a good opportunity to discuss the prospects for such a trip,” Peskov added.
