REN TV: the former head of the Sergokalinsky district of Dagestan, Omarov, had his detention extended for 72 hours

The detention period of the former head of the Sergokalinsky district of Dagestan Magomed Omarov has been extended by 72 hours. This was reported by REN TV with reference to the Supreme Court of the republic.
Omarov’s new detention became known the day before. According to some media sources, he is suspected of money laundering, and according to other publications — of fraud.
Omarov was detained for the first time after the terrorist attacks in Derbent and Makhachkala on June 23, in which his relatives were involved . The court sentenced him to administrative arrest under the article of hooliganism. After the terrorist attacks, Omarov was dismissed from his post as head of the district.
