The fire in Alushta has been localized to an area of 1,500 square meters
In Crimea, in the Alushta region, a huge fire that appeared after an accident at a gas distributor was localized on an area of 1,500 square meters, the Izvestia report says.
Previously It was reported that depressurization of the gas pipe suspension bridge occurred in the Alushta area, and the fire began to spread to the forest.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that additional forces and means of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations were sent to the site of the fire. In total, more than 50 people and 14 pieces of equipment were involved in the fire extinguishing effort.
The Crimean authorities denied rumors of sabotage.
