RYAZAN, July 7 The court took into custody a motorist in Vladimir, who, during an argument, deliberately ran over a motorcycle and fled the scene , and then voluntarily reported to law enforcement agencies, reports the RF SUSK for the Vladimir region.
“»Investigative bodies of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Vladimir region are investigating a criminal case accusing a resident of Vladimir of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder),» reports the Telegram channel SUSC.
According to preliminary data, on July 1, on Tolmachevskaya Street in the city of Vladimir, a conflict occurred between the accused, who was driving a car, and the victim, born in 1985, who was riding a motorcycle with a child. During the quarrel, the defendant intentionally hit a motorcycle, causing bodily harm to its driver. The victim was hospitalized, the department emphasizes.
“The accused fled the scene of the crime, but soon voluntarily came to the law enforcement agencies… The court granted the request of the investigator of the Investigative Committee to select a preventive measure for the man in the form of detention. The latter’s car was seized,” the department notes.
According to video footage from an external surveillance camera published by SUSC, the incident occurred in the gas station area. Judging by the video, at first the car slightly drove into a stationary motorcycle on which a man and a child were sitting. The child got down and both vehicles started moving. Having driven in a circle, the car hit a motorcycle, the driver of which fell to the ground.
