The Ostankino District Court of Moscow sent three men accused of raping a Match TV employee to a pre-trial detention center. This was reported by the press service of the capital's courts.
The arrested are citizens of Uzbekistan. It is known that their names are Mukhriddin Ortikboev, Buned Abdurashidov and Zhavokhir Zhurakulov. A criminal case was opened against them for rape committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy (clause “a” of Part 2 of Article 131 of the Criminal Code).
The Baza Telegram channel, without specifying a source, reported that men attacked a girl near Ostankino Pond on the night of June 6. An employee of Match TV was returning home from work at that moment. According to the Investigative Committee, the rape was committed by two accused, and the third “observed the environment, ensuring the safety of his accomplices.”
The official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk, reported on her Telegram channel that the first man was detained in a forested parking area in the Ostankino district of Moscow. The second accused was detained near the metro. The arrest of the third man was not separately reported, but the Investigative Committee attached to the release of the petition for the arrest of the accused a video of the security forces’ raid on the construction site.
