MOSCOW, July 8. The number of people killed in the shelling of the village of Nikolskoye in the Belgorod region by the Ukrainian Armed Forces has increased to three, said the head of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Nikolskoye on the afternoon of July 8. A shell hit a two-story building housing a restaurant and a store, killing a man on the spot. Another victim later died in hospital. In addition, a woman with shrapnel wounds was hospitalized from the scene. Two men were sent home for outpatient treatment after treatment of their wounds.
Four private households, four cars and a minibus were also damaged.
